Chris enjoys training lower body, such as large muscle groups which take a lot of effort. Legs are always a big challenge but there is no better feeling than smashing a good leg session.
Chris studied at James Watt College for 3 years to receive his HNC, qualified in kettlebells, level 2 gym instructor and level 3 PT.
Chris played rugby up till the age of 21 had to retire due to injury. Chris was always working on his strength for rugby so he started weight training at 19 years old. He then went on to compete for 3 years at the British Natural Bodybuilding Federation. He also came 2nd in the heavyweight class in 2005.

I gave up my retail job back in 1999 to start my fitness journey and took the opportunity for me to become more educated in fitness.
Weight lifting has always been my thing. I train 5 days a week with my coach and good friend David Jackson, a very knowledgeable individual when it comes to bodybuilding who pushes me to my limits with every training session.
(He’ll tell you that it’s me who pushes him beyond his limits most of the time!)
My awareness and understanding of the changes in the female body have allowed my education to adapt even further. Now that my days of running around to the beck and call of the kids are over, training is my priority.
Level 2 gym instructor, Level 3 PT, Bodypump certified, Metafit certified, freestyle spin, TRX training.
I now teach Les Mills Bodypump which allows for me to crossover over between bodybuilding and group training. I am heavily involved in the ladies lifting group as a coach to use my education about weight training for those just starting or those much more advanced individuals. I have also taught spin for just short of 3 years, I love teaching spin it was my first group training class, a get such a buzz off the loud music and working at such a high intensity with a team of great individuals who are working towards the same goal. There is never a dry
body when my spin is over, the room is soaking in sweat. I am forever learning, looking for ways to improve my education further. My life is fitness and I love every part of it.
